This group occurs every other Friday from 5-8 pm, includes a meal and opportunity to make crafts or create art on a weekly basis, and is open to 9-12 grade girls, regardless of their school (online is welcome, too). Topics will include things like self-esteem, healthy relationships, personal goals, resolving conflict, and finding joy in troubling times. This group is led by Amy Kelley, Haley Cardenas and Darci Reagan. There is lots of laughter, music, snacking, and fun at this group!
This group has not yet started, but is planned for Fall 2021. It will be a closed group that offers support, trauma-focused CBT, and community in response to sexual assault trauma. Unfortunately, there are many young people in this area who have been the victim of these types of crimes, and this group will be open to young people from any counseling agency in the area, as long as their clinician requests the service in the treatment plan. This group has not yet started, but is planned for Fall 2021. It will be a closed group that offers education, prevention, and accountability for teens with substance use disorder. This group will used the Prime4Life curriculum and other materials depending on the participants. Clients from other agencies are eligible for this group with the recommendation of their clinician. This Skill Training and Development group for clients age 14-17 will help them prepare for adulthood and learn to be responsible for themselves and their responsibilities. Clients will learn to plan, shop for, and prepare healthy foods, wash clothes, clean up messes and sanitize their spaces. They will also learn to communicate, how to be in healthy relationships, and how to resolve conflict. They will learn money skills with budgeting, goal setting, and the difference between wants and needs. This group be meeting in person beginning Septemper 2021.
This online-only psychotherapy group offers support for clients identifying as LGBTQIA or non-binary. This group will explore areas like identification, social experiences, relationships, and self-esteem. This group will be a closed group, so attendance is by admission only. Please talk to your clinician if you are interested in attending this group. This group be meeting in person beginning September 2021.

These groups came as a result of client requests and demonstrated needs, and we are happy to consider other groups that may be appropriate for our clients. There are already some group ideas for meeting at area schools during lunch, a Dungeons and Dragons group, etc.
