Meet our horses

Smartie is the most used horses for equine therapy and riding lessons, because of his good temperament! He is great for new riders as well as experienced riders, because of all his years of training! Smartie was donated to KKR by Marlo and requires some extra maintenance due to his navicular and arthritis, but it doesn't slow him down. He is ridden daily and loves the attention.
Smartie is a Registered Quarter Horse and 21 years old

Jasmine is also one of our great horses to learn on. While she can be stubborn and strong-willed with teenagers, she is good at taking it nice and slow for our beginners. Oh, and she absolutely loves Snickers and does not like to be separated from her! We think she must have been a mama with a previous owner and she thinks Snickers is her baby.

Miracle is another one of our leased older horses. She is a very sweet girl! She is our only horse we ride in a hackamore! She has riders that are all different ages, from six years old to teenagers. She is one of our best beginner horses because she prefers to not go faster than a walk but doesn't spook at anything, including ropes, flags, and pool noodles.
Miracle is a Grey Appaloosa and 24 years old
Food/Board: Miracles food and board are paid for by her owner, Terry Meacham, who has graciously allowed us to use her for therapy to keep her active and give her a purpose while loving her and showering her with attention.
